Making a Difference

Today, I made a difference. Yesterday, one of my coworkers asked me to explain my reasoning behind voting for Barack Obama, so I did. I told him that I am pro-choice, want to end the war in Iraq, don't believe in drilling in Alaska for oil, and want some tax relief. Today, he came to me and told me that I had helped him make a decision about who to vote for. I couldn't believe that my brief conversation with him was enough to convince him to vote for Obama. I was, and am still, THRILLED that I was able to make a difference!

Obamarama

Chris and I will be hosting an Obamarama party on Tuesday, November 4th to celebrate history in the making! I'm thrilled to be living through this definitive point in US history! I thought I had missed all of the good stuff from the 50s and 60s, but it turns out that there are still exciting times on the horizon. Phew! What a relief! Barack the VOTE!!!!!
